May 4th is a special day around here. In case you didn’t know, we are die-hard Star Wars fans. Wait…let me rephrase that. MY HUSBAND is a die-hard Star Wars fan. Our kids love the series almost as much as he does and I’m just along for the ride if you really want to know the truth. Every year, when May 4th comes around, all the Star Wars fans unite and celebrate the day in honor of George Lucas’ Star Wars franchise. Wikipedia best explains why this date is so special:
The date was chosen for the pun on the catchphrase “May the Force be with you” as “May the Fourth be with you“.
You have to admit, it is kinda catchy.
Having been a child myself when the first trilogy was released, I too have grown to appreciate Star Wars in my own way. I’m sure many of you are (or know someone who is) a fan as well. That is why I’ve created this list of our favorite kitchen gadgets that you can look for wherever you like to do your shopping. Before you know it, Father’s Day will be here. Maybe this list will help you find a gift for the Star Wars fan in your life!
12 Star Wars Themed Kitchen Gadgets.
1. Rogue One Darth Vader Light Saber Handheld Immersion Blender
One tool that I would highly recommend to always have in your kitchen is a hand blender. I don’t care what kind of cook you are, you need a hand blender. You can use it to make soups, baby food, smoothies, mixed drinks, mashed potatoes, refried beans even! All without having to remove your food from the pot or container your already using.
2. Disney Star Wars R2-D2 and C-3PO Spice Shaker Set
These spice shakers would be perfect for spice rubs or powdered sugar. I probably wouldn’t use them as salt and pepper shakers because if you take a closer look at the number of holes on them, you can already tell that they might pour out too much salt and pepper if you use them at the table.
They measure 2 1/2″ diameter x 3 3/4″ tall.
3. Death Star Waffle Maker – Produces a 7-Inch Diameter Round Waffle with 2 Sections
I personally have not tried this waffle maker, but the reviews on it are good enough to make me want to buy one to use on Father’s Day. Besides, having two waffle makers going at the same time would be nice. The one I use now is the Presto 03510 Ceramic FlipSide Belgian Waffle Maker. 
4. Bessmate 2-Pack Star Wars Death Star Silicone Sphere Ice Ball Maker Mold
If you’re serving up some whiskey, you’ll want to use a large ice ball instead of regular ice cubes because it melts slower and releases less water into your drink. At least that’s what the hubby tells me. 😉
He’s been using these for a few years now and loves them!

5. Star Wars Silicone Ice Cube Mold Trays – Set of 8
This set includes mold trays for the following characters: Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Han Solo in Carbonite, Mandalorian and Boba Fett, Millenium Falcon, Yoda and BB-8, R2-D2, and X-wing Starfighters. You guys, I just about gave in and ordered this french press when I saw it. If it wasn’t for the fact that I already have two regular ones, I would have bought this one in a heartbeat. I still might. It’s just too freaking cool not to!
It holds 32 ounces of coffee (4 cups).

If you don’t immediately know what to do with this one, you can move along to #8 on the list.
If you do know what it is, then you’ve just found yourself the coolest f***ing herb grinder ever.
8. Lightsaber BBQ Tongs With Sounds
Another cool find if you ask me are these tongs! As a matter of fact, as we were looking for Star Wars themed kitchen gadgets together, this was one of the top three that my husband wanted for himself. 
9. Officially Licensed Star Wars™ TIE Fighter Gas Grill
This TIE Fighter Grill was at the top of his list, and I’d have to agree with him. Have you ever seen anything like this?!
It measures 37″ x 17.75″ x 15.75″ and comes with a 25-year limited warranty.
10. R2-D2 Oven Mitts – Set of 2
What’s a BBQ cookout without some oven mitts, right? R2-D2 was always my favorite character from Star Wars. I remember rockin’ my R2-D2 pajamas when I was a little girl. If you were an eighties kid, I bet you did as well. It makes sense to have something of his that we can wear in the kitchen too, don’t you think?!
11. Han Solo Character Apron
I just had to throw this one in here in honor of the new movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story, that is set to be released on May 25th, 2018.
12. BB-8 Kitchen Timer – With Lights and Sounds
Last but not least is one more tool no cook should be without in their kitchen. A timer. But don’t let that stop you from using it for other things, like homework, screen time, board games, etc. Your kids are going to love this timer! BB-8 means to today’s young generation what R2-D2 meant to all of us kids growing up in the eighties. He was the robot we all wish we could have at home.
